Information for Participating Instructors
We are excited to invite you to participate in a new Regional program to support the youth programs for Region 6.
It is called the “Instructor Experience Program – IEP” and is a program where we ask the trainers in our region to donate 3 hours of their time during a calendar year to provide lessons to JR/YR and AA. We then match up youth and Adult Amateur riders with those trainers through an application process, providing the rider a flat fee to ride with their chosen instructor. The fees are all donated to the youth programs for the region, including supporting the NAJYRC team.
Once an application has been accepted an email will be sent to the chosen instructor and approved applicant telling them of the match. At that time it will be up to the instructor and participant to select a mutually agreed upon time and location for the instruction. We ask that once the match is done both parties work to have the lesson completed within 2 months of the acceptance email.
We feel this is a great program for the region, not only helping fund raise for our youth, but allowing the riders and trainers in the area to have a flexible and cost effective way to try that “special trainer” they have always heard about. It is also a great way for the trainers to get more visibility to a broad group of riders they may not know.
Other dressage regions have tried this program with great success and we are asking for your support to help kick it off for Region 6.
If you are interested in supporting this program and donating your time, please fill out the simple form below and return it to the address. You will be listed in all program materials and website. The donation will be tax deductible and once we received your agreement form a letter with tax deductible information will be sent to your address. We are looking to launch this program in May and appreciate your support.
